NRA Firearm Museum - Napoleon Bonaparte
NRA’s National Firearms Museum will be bringing a special treasure to the July 28-30 Showmasters Gunshow at the Dulles Expo Center – Napoleon Bonaparte.
Plan to come by and view an incredible double-barreled flintlock shotgun once owned by that short man who conquered much of Europe. This gold-inlaid double fowler was hand-built by Fatou of Paris and features elaborate gold and silver engraving embellishments as well as an original purple velvet cheekpiece.
For the last four years, this rare masterpiece was on display at the NRA National Sporting Arms Museum at Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, MO. Now it’s back on exhibit here in our Virginia galleries and you can look it over in detail at the Chantilly gunshow.
The National Firearms Museum is just down the road in Fairfax, VA at the NRA Headquarters. Open daily 9:30am to 5pm, over 3,000 firearms are on exhibit daily and there is no admission charge for the museum galleries.
If you have questions about our educational programs, check out the museum website at www.nramuseums.com, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call (703) 267-1600.
