This workshop will introduce participants to an array of products on the commercial market that have been proven on the battlefield in the treatment of massive hemorrhage.

As a result, many lives have been saved by both military medics and civilian responders.  These basic devices are simple enough for the average soldier to use and inexpensive enough for anyone to afford.

As a result, they are essential components of both the individual first aid kit (IFAK) and family emergency medical kit.

Principle equipment to be addressed during the workshop will include the following: Tourniquet, Pressure Bandage, Clotting Dressing, Occlusive Dressing, Tension Pneumothorax Needle, and Nasopharyngeal Airway.

The workshop will run for one hour.

Friday - 4pm
Saturday - 1pm and 3pm
Sunday - 1pm and 3pm

Come learn how to reload your own ammo from an expert FREE!!!  Or just improve your skills!  Question and Answer at the end of each seminar.

Reloading is the process of reusing old casings to create new cartridges. The other 3 components (the bullet, the gunpowder, and primer) are exhausted during a shot and must be replaced. We offer classes and will gladly otherwise assist you in any way we can to ensure that your experience is safe, easy, and an economical solution for your ammunition needs.

Many people reload their ammunition in an effort to save money, recycle, resupply during times when ammunition is scarce, and also to create ammunition custom-tailored for specific purposes such as varmint hunting. Bring old brass to resell too!  If you have any questions concerning reloading, feel free to call our Reloading Team email them at macs@visi.net or  you can call them at (757) 479-0849.

The NRA National Firearms Museum Presents:

Remembering the Fallen

NRA’s National Firearms Museum will be bringing a very somber exhibit to the Nation's Gun Show at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, VA on September 28, 29, & 30.

Seventeen years ago, on a crisp fall morning, Americans watched as two aircraft under the control of terrorists crashed into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City.  The city’s law enforcement, fire, and EMS agencies were there immediately, helping survivors out of the impact zones and trying to rescue many, many others still trapped in the collapsing structures.
The museum’s exhibit specifically honors two NYPD men who gave their lives that day and whose service firearms were recovered from the rubble of Ground Zero, from the ashes of the World Trade Center.

Police Officers Walter Weaver and John D’Allara were coworkers and friends, both veterans of many years with the New York City Police Department.  Seventy-one law enforcement officers, 343 members of the New York City  Fire Department, and over 2,800 civilians were killed on September 11, 2001.

The National Firearm Museum is honored to display the Smith & Wesson revolver that was Officer Walter Weaver’s backup gun and for the first time, we will exhibit the Smith & Wesson pistol

that was Officer John D’Allara’s sidearm, now on loan from his family.  Together these two handguns, like the officers that carried them, reflect that September day when America saw incredible sacrifices.
