The NRA National Firearms Museum proudly presents

Special Smith & Wessons July 26, 27 & 28 at the Nation's Gun Show!

Special Smith & Wessons

NRA’s National Firearms Museum has gathered up some of the rare treasures hiding away in our collection vaults and we’re bringing them to the July 26 – 28, 2019 gunshow at the Chantilly Expo Center.  Folks like our Hollywood Guns, so we’re bringing Snake Plissken’s own S&W, a custom .44 Magnum wielded by Kurt Russell in the 1996 film, Escape from LA.  Law enforcement collectors will be intrigued by the two top-break sixguns that were once owned by James B. Hume, better known as the man who captured the infamous California stagecoach robber, Black Bart.  Hume made many arrests on outlaws that robbed banks and Wells Fargo moneyboxes out in the West.

If you like seeing great pieces that were manufactured in Springfield, Massachusetts, we’ll also be displaying shoulder-stocked S&W carbines, guns associated with local lawmen, and Civil War generals.  This travelling exhibition will be a one-time presentation, so shake off those mid-summer doldrums and head off to Chantilly on the last weekend of July.

The NRA National Firearms Museum, located in the Fairfax, VA headquarters of the National Rifle Association, daily offers thousands of historic arms at no admission charge from 9:30am to 5pm. For more information on the museum’s educational programs, including our 1pm staff-led gallery tour – call (703) 267-1600, e-mail or check out our website

This workshop will introduce participants to an array of products on the commercial market that have been proven on the battlefield in the treatment of massive hemorrhage.

As a result, many lives have been saved by both military medics and civilian responders.  These basic devices are simple enough for the average soldier to use and inexpensive enough for anyone to afford.

As a result, they are essential components of both the individual first aid kit (IFAK) and family emergency medical kit.

Principle equipment to be addressed during the workshop will include the following: Tourniquet, Pressure Bandage, Clotting Dressing, Occlusive Dressing, Tension Pneumothorax Needle, and Nasopharyngeal Airway.

The workshop will run for one hour. The purchase of a trauma kit is required to participate in the workshop.
