This workshop will introduce participants to an array of products on the commercial market that have been proven on the battlefield in the treatment of massive hemorrhage.
As a result, many lives have been saved by both military medics and civilian responders. These basic devices are simple enough for the average soldier to use and inexpensive enough for anyone to afford.
As a result, they are essential components of both the individual first aid kit (IFAK) and family emergency medical kit.
Principle equipment to be addressed during the workshop will include the following: Tourniquet, Pressure Bandage, Clotting Dressing, Occlusive Dressing, Tension Pneumothorax Needle, and Nasopharyngeal Airway.
The workshop will run for one hour.
The NRA National Firearms Museum Presents:
NRA’s National Firearms Museum will be bringing a special attraction to this weekends November 16, 17 & 18, 2018 Nation's Gun Show.
Our travelling exhibit this time features a gun well-known to television fans of westerns – a Winchester Model 1892 .44-40 carbine once wielded by Chuck Connors as the Rifleman. Seen in 168 episodes from 1959 to 1963 on the ABC Television Network, Connors starred as Lucas McCain, a widowed rancher endowed with incredible skill with his Winchester. But did you know that while two of the three primary rifles modified for the show were Winchesters, another one was a Spanish-made El Tigre carbine. Each of these three rifles featured the set-screw modified lever that allowed Connors to quickly fire his rifle twelve times for the opening of each episode.
NRA’s National Firearms Museum is just six miles away from the Expo Center at 11250 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax, VA 22030. Open days 9:30am to 5pm, the galleries showcase more than 3,000 historic firearms and related artifacts that span more than six centuries of arms technology. For more information, check out the website atwww.nramuseums.com, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org, or call (703) 267-1600. Admission to the museum is free and our museum store offers a wide selection of fraternal items and books.
